Report by the Colonial Surgeon.
Inspector Gould suffered
severely from Remittent Fever, Congestion of the Liver and Di- arrhan during the year before leaving the Colony. His eyesight had become very defective. He certainly should not be sent out again unless he has passed a thorough medical examination into his present condition and a medical certificate
as to his fitness given. My opinion
that he would be to return.
